Happy Father's Day

Today we enjoyed making some special cards and pictures for our Dad's and Grandad's. Mrs Phillips made some yummy brownie as well.

Wearable Arts Parade

Today we held our Wearable Arts Parade in Horoeka block. We loved showing everyone our fancy ties and glasses. We were grouped in themes - florals, weird and wacky, geometric, feathers. We loved walking down the runway and twirling!

Setting the Table

This week we are writing the instructions to set the table. We have loved practising setting the table at school in Explore Time. Maybe we can do it at home too!!!!

Explore Time

This morning we enjoyed parking the cars, using the tongs and chopsticks and building marble runs. Its very busy in Matai 1&2 - lots of happy learning going on!

Watch Out for Scary Spiders!

Today we finished our pom pom spiders with Mrs Renner in Visual Art. We are going to make an inch wincy scary spider display.

Jelly in the Bowl Part Two!

Today we got to eat our jelly after it set in the fridge over night. Most of us liked it!

Then we practiced our Jelly in the Bowl Poem with the parachute. We hope you enjoy the video of it!

Preschool Visitors

Today we had some children visiting from ABC Aidanfield. We showed them what we do at school. We enjoyed reading books and making maths counting caterpillars together.

Making Toast

This week we are writing the instructions on how to make toast. Today we made toast and ate it! Yum. Some of us had jam and some of us had marmite on our toast. Then we had to draw the things we needed to make toast in our books. Tomorrow we will begin to write the steps.
