On Friday morning, brand new sand arrived! We're excited to get back into the sandpit!

PJs dress up afternoon!

We are learning to take care of our bodies, and we were talking about how sleep is very important for us! So why not learn in our PJS? Check out each class.

Brush Brush Brush!

Today we had the great Room AB Brush In! We got to brush our teeth with our teachers at school. First we brushed the top, then the bottom teeth. We also have a tooth brushing chart to fill in at home to help us remember to brush our teeth in the morning and at night.

Baby bath

With our "Taking care of ourselves" unit we have been talking about bath times and why it's important to wash our bodies to keep clean. We were lucky enough to have a real life baby come into school to get washed for us! He was smiley and loved the attention! 

How often should we wash our clothes?

We have been learning about taking care of our bodies. One thing we learnt was about how often we should wash our clothes. Can you work out which photo is: wash everyday, wash every 2-3 days and wash when required?

Letters Fun!

Today we drew our names and this weeks alphabet letters in shaving foam. It was funny and messy to touch!

GERMS!

We have been learning about "taking care of our bodies." We created germs and using glitter on the hand we saw how far germs travel. We learnt how to properly wash our hands and we gave it a go!

Cross Country

This afternoon we participated in the Cross Country. We all tried really hard and ran really well.
Mr Bibby was the recorder of the place getters so he wore his sparkly hat so we could find him easily at the end. Miss Nixon warmed us up first with some exercises. The boys ran first and then the girls.
Costa won the Year 1 boys race and Sasha was the winner for the girls.
