Preschool Visit

This afternoon Mrs Phillips took Jessie, Ezra, Ana and Marshall to Cornerstone Preschool for a visit. It was lovely to see their friends there and the teachers. The preschool children will be visiting us next Friday.

Watch Out for the Terrible Tiger!

Last week we read a big book called "The Terrible Tiger." We made our own tigers out of plasticine. Watch out for their terrible claws!

Numbers Numbers Numbers!

Today we practised writing our numbers on the whiteboards. Its tricky remembering to get some of the numbers round the right way!

We have finished our printmaking lizards. They are up in the Discovery Room.

Warehouse Stationery Writing Challenge

Today we finished our Writing Challenge from Warehouse Stationery. We had to complete a big chart all about Room AB. We also had 32 postcards to colour and write on. The postcards make a big puzzle. We made a map of our classroom too - listing the best reading and thinking places as well as the noisiest!
The courier will pick up our package and it is going to Plateau School, Te Marua, Upper Hutt.
We will get a courier bag from another school. We are waiting excitedly for it to come!

Lizard Art

On Friday we started some art drawing Lizards. Watch this space or in the classroom to see how these develop!

Swimming

We've had two days of swimming. Some of us are in the big pool and some of us are in the little pool. If we are not swimming then we sit with the teacher and do some writing together.
