Happy Birthday Mrs Krueger!

Today we wished Mrs Krueger a very happy birthday. Beth's Mum made a very yummy cake for us to share - thank you!

Swimming Writing

We have been writing swimming narratives with a beginning, middle and ending. They are now up in the classrooms.

Junior Athletics Day

We had a fabulous day last Friday at the Junior Athletics Sports Day. The weather was lovely and all the children tried very hard. A highlight was a spirits at the end including the Mums, Dads and preschoolers races.

Junior Sports

Yesterday we had our first practise for the Junior Athletics Sports. We were on the back field trying different rotations. We also had a go at the sprints.

Explore Time

This morning we enjoyed lots of different activities during Explore Time. We liked making"e" egg pictures, sorting the shells, balancing the magnetics, building with the Mobilo, fuzzy felts and writing at the writing table. It was a busy morning!

Goodbye!

Last Friday we said goodbye to Miss Kendrew our student teacher from the University of Canterbury.  We will really miss her at school.
